First Person Care Clinic is a 501 (c)3 private non-profit, and it is certified as a multispecialty community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC/CCBHC) offering comprehensive medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and specialty healthcare services in Clark County, Nevada. Most work full-time but some work only part-time due to the program in which they work. All providers are required to go through our credentialing and privileging process. During this process we verify that provider's qualifications and license status are in good standing to provide healthcare services. INFO: The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is celebrating September as Hunger Action Month. On the 1st of September they held an event called Feed the Camel. The event included food trucks and prizes for participants. In early August they also hosted an emergency distribution for individuals who are impacted by the recent fires. INFO: Foundation for and Independent Tomorrow empowers motivated unemployed and underemployed Nevadans toward financial stability and self-sufficiency through individual mentoring, resources and support for education, training and employment preparation.
