Good Neighbors Warming Center provides a safe space for women and families with young children to escape the harsh Northern Nevada winters. In its first year 22 women found a safe space to spend the night.

INFO: The TMCC Dental Hygiene Clinic is open to the public and our fees are extremely low: ranging from $25 to $135 for procedures. We do not perform extractions, restorations or dentures. Standard cleanings are no charge, and appointments are 3-1/2 to 4 hours in length. Deep cleanings scaling and root planing (SRP) are $10 to $20 per quadrant and may take more than one appointment that are 3-1/2 to 4 hours in length. X-rays start at $15 and can cost as much as $35. Duplication of x-rays costs $10. X-ray appointments are 1-1/2 hours in length. Sealants (for young children) are $5 per tooth. Sealants are done during cleaning appointments 3-1/2 to 4 hours in length.

INFO: Hungry families need help. The Dimensions food pantry ministry at Valley View serves more than 200 families in the community every Sunday morning from 7:00-9:00 a.m., rain, snow, or shine. In the fall, we help local families with back-to-school supplies for their kids, and in the winter, we collect and distribute winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and boots.
