INFO: RHA currently owns and manages more than 750 units of Public Housing in eight different locations in Reno and Sparks under the Public Housing program. Through Neighborhood Stabilization Programs and other funding, the organization also owns more than 165 rental properties specifically targeted for low-income households.

Additionally, RHA and its subsidiary, Washoe Affordable Housing Corporation, owns, manages or contracts more than 1,400 below market rate rental properties in Washoe County.

INFO: This facility is undergoing a change in management. OurPlace opened in June of 2021, OurPlace is the largest emergency housing provider for women and families in our community. In partnership with Washoe County HSA, they provide shelter and wrap around services for 136 women, 38 families, and their animal companions. The organization recently posted an update on the progress of the program they offer. For example, permanently housing 133 single adult women and 58 families as well as provide emergency shelter to 151 pets, 86 families, 626 women, and 142 children and much more.24/7 community organization providing support through mutual aid, volunteers, and client lead interventions. RISE is partnered with the county to run emergency housing facilities at Our Place in Sparks for women, seniors, and families with children.
