INFO: Queens Food Program: Provides food program to the community every Saturday. To try to make sure that families in need get at least some type of food (preferably healthy organic fruits and vegetables) to help sustain their nutritional needs. Open to all in need. Free tickets are to be picked up on Saturdays in this spot at 12:30 PM on a first come first served basis. Upon receipt of your ticket you may leave and return at the time instructed to you by the ticket person. No requirements are needed. You must be on time returning as your number is called 3 times and after which you will be placed at the end of the line. The food is disbursed until it is gone, then the program shuts down for the day and returns the following Saturday. This service does not provide food delivery at this time.
