MANDATES: The Redevelopment Agency Board is currently comprised of the Mayor, who serves as the Chairperson, and the members of the Reno City Council, who serve on the Board. The Chairperson and the members of the Board are all voting members. Nine members appointed by the Redevelopment Agency Board and represents residents, business owners, and property owners within the redevelopment areas with diverse expertise and experience related to redevelopment. Regional Transmission Coordination Task Force

The task force completed its work and submitted a final report with recommendations to the legislature in December 2023.
MANDATES: Authorized by Senate Bill 448 (2023). Studied and evaluated issues relating to the coordination of transmission planning and development in the western electrical grid, with a specific focus on Nevada's role, benefits, and opportunities. MEETINGS: Met at least three times in 2023. All agendas, minutes, and the final report are archived on the Governor's Office of Energy website. The Director of the Governor's Office of Energy served as Chair; members were various ex officio representatives and appointees. |

INFO: The Regional Water Planning Commission RWPC was created in 1995 to provide a forum and method for the planning and coordination of water use, flood control and wastewater management throughout the region. The RWPC is comprised of 9 voting members and alternates, and 8 non-voting members and alternates. MEETINGS: Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month, at 1:30 p.m., at the Washoe County Administrative Complex, at 9th and Wells, in the County Commission Chambers (unless otherwise posted). INFO: The work of the RACC is anchored in the idea that arts and culture are created and consumed in a dynamic ecosystem within the community. Reno’s creative ecosystem is substantially more robust than comparable cities with a large number of nonprofit cultural organizations, small and large arts-related business, music, schools and universities and individual artists and creative workers of all types. Supporting all of these formal and structured creative entities are the thoughts of Reno citizens who attend and support arts activities throughout the City. INFO: The purpose of the Historical Resources Commission (HRC) is to act as the official advisor to the City of Reno on matters relating to the historic preservation of cultural resources and buildings. The Commission recommends to the Council possible uses and funding options for historic buildings, places and sites. The HRC also suggests policy and ordinance changes to the City Council relating to historic buildings and sites.
MANDATES: Ch 18.08.904 . The HRC shall consist of seven members, who are residents of the State of Nevada, each appointed by an affirmative vote of no less than four members of the City Council, which includes the mayor.
