We will use the laws and regulations set by the State and the County to insure a minimum level of care is provided to children to maintain and facilitate their normal development, health, safety, and welfare.We believe children, parents, and the community have a right to expect that licensed facilities will provide an environment for children that nurtures growth and potential. INFO: Crossroads Sober Living Home: Provides sober living environment for the homeless with a history of alcohol or drug addiction. Services are provided on site and include: AA/NA meetings, case management, job skills/activities, alcohol and drug counseling, mental health counseling.

INFO: Burial and Cremation Assistance: Provides supportive services to individuals and families in need, who are low-income, displaced, struggling with mental health or substance use, are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless in Washoe County. A division of Washoe County Human Services Agency.

Victim Services: Offers crisis intervention services and assistance, safety planning, emergency financial assistance to help victims stabilize their lives, legal and medical advocacy, case management, assistance with the criminal justice system, victim advocacy, and relocation assistance and/or shelter assistance.

INFO: Mobile Crisis Response Team-Northern Nevada: Provides crisis hotline intervention and stabilization services for children, adolescents, and their families. Services are available for children and adolescents who are exhibiting behavioral or mental issues which pose a threat the child's stability within their home, school, or community.

INFO: Law Library: Provides legal information, education, and resources. Works with the Family Division Resource Center to make court approved packets and forms available to the public. Sponsors outreach programs to the community such as Lawyer in the Library.

Lawyer in the Library: Volunteer attorneys provide 10-15 minute Zoom/phone consultations for the public. Consultations are brief and designed to give the public information to use in their legal matters. Family and General Law programs are offered once a week. Probate Law is offered twice a month and Landlord Tenant Law is held once a month. Space is limited and pre-registration for all programs is required.

After school hours, the library is opened to the public as a branch of the Washoe County Library System with full access to WCLS materials, databases, and services. Has four adult internet and eight youth internet computers, all with word processing capabilities.
